Following the release of the album Portraits from a Living Planet, the project expands into a new visual dimension with Scenes from a Living Planet, a series of short cinematic videos inspired by the music and atmospheres of the album.
Portraits from a Living Planet was conceived as a concept album dedicated to our planet: not simply a collection of tracks, but a journey through landscapes, natural environments, extreme places and locations shaped by human presence. Each composition was designed as a sonic portrait, where the sea, the mountain, the forest, the river, the desert, the Arctic, the abyss, the countryside and the city become worlds to listen to, explore and imagine.
With Scenes from a Living Planet, these portraits take on a new form. The music remains the starting point, but it is now accompanied by imagery and video sequences created to expand the universe of the album. Each episode of the series is dedicated to one of the nine main environments featured in Portraits from a Living Planet, following the album's track order and transforming each composition into a short audiovisual experience.

The idea behind the project is not to create traditional music videos, but rather short cinematic fragments: self-contained, evocative scenes designed to accompany the music and stimulate the imagination. Each video becomes a window into a different face of our planet, balancing nature, atmosphere, light, movement and sound.
The connection with Portraits from a Living Planet is direct, yet not merely illustrative. The visuals do not simply attempt to show what the music describes; instead, they continue the same narrative through a different language. While the album builds its landscapes through synthesizers, atmospheric sounds, melodies and electronic textures, Scenes from a Living Planet seeks to evoke those same places through contemplative visual storytelling, designed to suggest rather than explain.
In this sense, the series represents a true visual extension of the album. It does not replace the listening experience, but accompanies it. It does not reduce the music to a soundtrack, but places it within a broader imaginative world. Each scene emerges from the meeting point of musical composition, environmental inspiration and visual creation.
From a narrative perspective, the first seven scenes explore predominantly natural environments: the sea, the mountain, the forest, the river, the desert, the Arctic and the abyss. With The Countryside and The City, human presence becomes more apparent: first through landscapes still closely connected to nature, and then through the urban environment, more artificial, dynamic and contemporary.
This progression reflects the structure of the album itself, where the tracks are not isolated pieces but part of a larger journey: from observing the planet through its natural elements to exploring the spaces where humanity becomes part of the landscape.
Scenes from a Living Planet will be released on YouTube through a dedicated playlist. Following the official trailer, the journey begins with The Sea, the first scene in the series. Starting the following week, two new scenes will be released each week, following the album's sequence and gradually guiding viewers through the different environments of the planet.
Each video is intended to stand on its own, while also contributing to a broader narrative in which imagery and music work together to create a single immersive experience.
Once the nine scenes have been released, the visual journey will continue with the complete videos for Our Living Planet - Part I and Our Living Planet - Part II, the two closing pieces of the album. If the nine scenes represent individual portraits of the planet, Our Living Planet offers a more comprehensive, emotional and symbolic perspective.
Scenes from a Living Planet is therefore a natural extension of Portraits from a Living Planet: an audiovisual project created to give visual form to the images suggested by the music and to accompany the listener on a journey through landscapes, sounds, atmospheres and visions.
