Giuseppe Dio's new concept album, Portraits from a Living Planet, will be available on Spotify, Apple Music and all major digital platforms from June 5th 2026.
The project features eleven tracks inspired by the environments of our planet: seas, mountains, forests, rivers, deserts, Arctic landscapes, abysses, countryside and cities become sonic portraits shaped through electronic music, ambient atmospheres, cinematic elements and field recordings.
The album was born from the idea of observing the Earth not simply as a background, but as a collection of living places, each with its own identity, breath and atmosphere.
Throughout the journey, the human presence gradually emerges: at first distant and almost invisible, then increasingly evident through urban landscapes and the two closing tracks, Our Living Planet – Part I and Our Living Planet – Part II, which expand the perspective to the planet as a whole.
